Setup EncExtract Version 1.0.8.18 ********************************* Overview ======== EncExtract is split into 2 areas, the main menu one the left and various Tabs on the right: .. figure:: /_images/encextract_first_start.png :alt: EncExtract showing a blank configuration screen Unconfigured EncExtract screen Main options ============ These options are: Encrypted files --------------- You can use EncExtract to process files emailed or sent to you from Local Authorities by other means. Selecting **Decrypt from file** will prompt you for an encrypted file to decrypt. Internet -------- Once configured **Decrypt selected file** will allow a file to be selected from the **Internet** tab downloaded and decrypted. **Send file** will allow a file generated with results by the Laboratory system to be send to the server. Setup Tab ========= Version ------- The top right on the setup screen shows the version of the application. Load files from --------------- EncExtract can also handle csv files (an alternative means of data transfer). This is path to any cs file sent by the Local Authorities. Save files to ------------- This is the folder where you want EncExtract to place the extracted data in xml format. This can also be the default folder where LIMS will look for the xml file Split samples into different files for chemical and micro --------------------------------------------------------- If you would like micro and chemical samples to be split - check this box. Micro file prefix & Chemical file prefix If files are to be split, please enter the file prefixes in the relevant boxes. Add contact details to Sampling officer name field -------------------------------------------------- If you would like to combine the sample officer name with their phone number into a single field - check this box i.e. [David Henderson - 0141 300 1946) Automatically process files after loading ----------------------------------------- This option will automatically download all unprocessed files when ENCextract is opened Use WW3 XML formatting for dates and times ------------------------------------------ Switches date format to conform to international XML date standards This will need to be supported by your lab import system) Web Address ----------- The web service address for sample upload and download Username -------- Username issues to the Laboratory Password -------- Password issues to the Laboratory Use Keep Alive -------------- Can help if errors are caused by proxy or firewall Check Connection ---------------- Can be used to test the connection and if the username & password are correct Default upload path ------------------- This is the folder where you want EncExtract to look for the completed samples in xml format. This may also be the default folder where LIMS will export the xmi file Translate incoming lab code --------------------------- CHeck this box if the Laboratory code has to be translated to a new code. New lab code ------------ If **Translate incoming lab code** then the new code should be entered here. Include LA Code in office code ------------------------------ This will add the Local Authority code to the office code. Encrypted file Contents ======================= View the content of files Internet ============ The files that are available for you lab can be viewed under the internet tab. You can then choose to decrypt the selected file to generate the xml
