Optional Lookup Lists

Throughout the system there are various drop-down selection boxes which can
be populated via the optional Lookup list function.

Specifically the fields that use this feature are:

-  Brand Name
-  Food Description
-  Manufacturer
-  Distributor
-  Importer
-  Survey Reference
-  Analysis

The optional lookup list feature is in the reference drop down
menu. Once selected you will presented with the following screen:-

The white area is for free text input and can also accept copy and paste
data (i.e. from MS Word, Local authority management systems)

Each line is a new entry on the dropdown list when you enter a new
sample. Simply work though each tab along the top and populate
accordingly.

.. note:: Optional lookup is not required, however
    encourage their use as they help prevent grammatical variations, typos, etc.
