Optional Lookup Lists

Throughout the system there are various drop-down selection boxes which can be populated via the optional Lookup list function.

Specifically the fields that use this feature are:

  • Brand Name

  • Food Description

  • Manufacturer

  • Distributor

  • Importer

  • Survey Reference

  • Analysis

The optional lookup list feature is in the reference drop down menu. Once selected you will presented with the following screen:-

The white area is for free text input and can also accept copy and paste data (i.e. from MS Word, Local authority management systems)

Each line is a new entry on the dropdown list when you enter a new sample. Simply work though each tab along the top and populate accordingly.

Note

Optional lookup is not required, however encourage their use as they help prevent grammatical variations, typos, etc.
